Name: Jisanna Elizabeth Taylor Nickname: Jisa Age: Nineteen Gender: Female Animal Form Species: Black Panther (Melanistic Leopard) Occupation: None
Appearance: Jisa is exceptionally pretty though she doesn’t acknowledge the fact often or at all. She has big icy grey-blue eyes that seem like beach water, constantly moving and just as deep and mysterious as the sea. Long, dark black eyelashes frame her ocean eyes, only making the colour stand out more. Her skin is well kept and has a healthy glow about it because she is naturally more tan than most. She has long, straight black hair that hangs around her waist most of the time. She has a tall frame, long legs and arms, but is still well built from her Shifter side. Jisa is basically muscular, yet graceful and is very beautiful on the outside. Jisa is 6'2".
In half way form, it's not all that obvious that she is a shifter for the way she changes. Black ears sprout from the top of her head, but are easily hidden by her long black hair. Her claws come out but just look like long sharp black nails. Her icy blue eyes mix between amber and blue and the irises thin into slits. She becomes slightly shorter and more muscular and silent, her voice carries a note of growling in it.
When fully changed, Jisa becomes as black as the night sky. Thick, glossy fur covers her entire body, pulled over a powerful physique. She has luminous amber eyes with black irises like an abyss. She has a wild cat's face with long white whiskers and a black nose. A long black tail ends her body for balance. Her legs are powerfully built, pure muscle. She has a slightly deeper chest than her waist, an athletic build.
Personality: Jisa prides herself on being alert and trying to notice everything that she possibly can in any situation. Not knowing something or missing a point worries her and makes her doubt herself in light of recent events. It’s very difficult to take her by surprise, though not entirely impossible when she’s lost in thought or sleep-deprived. She is very serious and does not hold very much regard for humor; she has a very dry sense of it due to her life situation. Conversation is difficult for her because of this, and she’s generally a quiet person that can be awkward to socialize with. However, she’s a very good listener and won’t cut people off when she’s in a good mood. Her responses are usually some kind of sarcastic, scathing or cryptic at the least. These are all defense mechanisms from repeated tragedy in her life. What she is hiding is how wrong she feels, the doubt she holds close to her heart. She wants to appear the badass everyone thinks she is so she hides behind her harsh personality so the people around her won’t worry. Few people get used to her attitude and she doesn’t expect anyone to.
Jisa is more restrained than she used to be; she doesn’t fall prey to arrogance and blind faith in herself nearly as much as before she was turned. That said, she sometimes loses herself and becomes reckless with her life, goading adversaries and smart mouthing when she shouldn’t just to get into fights and feel some kind of excitement. Despite what she pretends to be, she is very protective and loyal toward the few people close to her and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, even at her expense. Jisa, for all that she distances herself from people, thrives on the company of others and makes the mistake of getting far too attached time and time again, no matter how many times she gets hurt by it.
The despair and loss that she lives with sometimes overwhelms her, she is prone to panic attacks at these times when she feels trapped. She used to resent what she was but is now resigned to her fate and can’t decide which side she is really on. She fears loss of control and experiences it more and more recently. The trait that most changed Shape Shifters carry has indeed been passed to her; she has a short temper. Though she is patient for the most part (a learned trait to be sure), sometimes things get a little too much for her to handle and she will lash out, normally verbally and sometimes physically.
History: Jisanna was brought up very well; money wasn’t an issue in her family. She had everything she had ever wanted, but she was not an ungrateful brat because of this, her family never accepted that type of behavior. They highlighted this by saying that if she became like that, she would have to work for her own things, and they would stop providing everything that she wanted for her. Jisa knew that they weren’t kidding, she never wanted to become like that anyway. She was a great student, friend and daughter; no one disliked Jisa, except for those who were jealous of her. When she hit the unlucky number thirteen, everything went wrong; Jisa still believes it shouldn’t have happened this way.
Her sister was staying home with the flu that day, so everyone was concentrating on her instead of Jisa, who was turning thirteen. Of course, being the good girl she was, Jisa didn’t mind, she’d have other birthdays. It’s too bad that it would be her last one with her family. When Jisa got home after a long day at school, she found both her parents and her sister dead, murdered no less. She ran up to her room and found it completely trashed, none of the other rooms were. This person was hoping to find her, and she hadn’t been there to save her family. Who this person could be was a mystery to Jisa, but she needed to leave, she no longer had family, and someone was trying to find her. The young girl didn’t want to go to an Orphanage to become someone else’s child, so she had to find ways to keep her secret. She became a master at keeping her new house straight, feeding herself and avoiding trouble so her parents wouldn’t be called in.
Two years later she found out about the world of supernaturals and all signs told her that one of them had killed her family. Naturally she became part of the EF, which only added to her deteriorating personality. She became skilled, and since she was fifteen, she was older and almost fully-grown. So far Jisa had managed to kill nearly every supernatural she had found, but none of them were the one she was looking for. Jisa kept hunting for them. Turns out sooner or later, she wouldn’t find the supernatural that had killed her family; he’d find her.
Every place she had been, he had only been a mile or two behind her, both of them going in circles for each other. Another year later and Jisa had become over-confident, had let her guard down. At that moment he had caught up with her in the shape of a wolf. Naturally, he intended to kill her. Fatal wounds to her torso and neck would have killed her, if the other Shape Shifter hadn’t found her. Jisa didn’t want to be saved, she could finally rest. The Shifter still saved her, no matter how much noise she made in protest to the notion. Of course it would have all been in vain if it hadn’t been a full moon that night. The change was painful, Jisa had never asked for anything more than a happy life, why did she deserve all that had happened to her?
From her tanned skin, black fur sprouted, thicker than her hair follicles could allow without throbbing. Her eyes blurred, and then she saw a whole new world through clear-cut sight. Lethal black claws pushed out from under her clear, blunt fingernails, her hands bent and twisted as their anatomy changed into those of giant paws. The new weight brought her onto all fours as her spine reconfigured to accustom her new body, her tail bone grew out and shaped into that of a cat’s tail. Jisa’s legs shortened and crooked into powerful haunches. Her hair shortened until its wavy black locks disappeared, skull lengthened at the mouth, her blunt omnivorous teeth lengthened into those of a carnivorous creature. Jisanna’s gorgeous icy grey blue eyes turned amber, and her iris’s grew until the amber was only visible around the edges. Small ears appeared atop her cat like head, her voice was replaced with deep growls. Jisa’s human life ended on her Sixteenth birthday; on the thirteenth of the third month of the year, Jisa became a Shape Shifter.
Many things happened in the course of becoming a Shape Shifter at sixteen, too many things to recount. Jisa changed, sharply at times and gradually at others, finding out things that skewed her vision of the world and ripped the foundations of her world and hatred out from underneath her. The one thing that has affected her the most was when she was captured by unknown people and taken to a facility where other Supernaturals were being held captive and tested. Jisa planned a grand escape with the boy in the cell next to her, but ended up not making it out herself. Eventually they released her, when she was too weak to survive where they dumped her. A shifter passed her and brought her back to safety. She has never really been the same since, though no one has ever been told about her ordeal and anyone who had known her before she disappeared have been around to figure it out.
Family: None Humans or Super Naturals?: Undecided [/size]
