Jane growled angrily and kicked a tree stump SUGUR! she bellowed jumping up and down holding her foot. After the shifter had got away Jane had limped back to wear she thought her knife was, but having the direction senses of a blind folded toddler was severely hindering those efforts. She’d wandered for ages between the tress, grumbling to herself and the trees about the lack of foot wear covering her feet and the fact that her knife was missing, The trees didn’t care. Then the ground had got soggy and wet, she’d been slipping into large puddles of water. The trees had become shorter and more stunted, twisted and dark. Bugs of many sizes and various amounts of pain in their bite had begun to appear and Jane was beginning to suspect that she wasn’t in the forest anymore. and that means I’m even further away from my shoes than ever! she groaned out loud. Dang it! I’m lost! she finally admitted stopping and looking around for another tree to take her frustration out on.

The dark haired shifter wandered Deepby Moor in hopes of drowning the rage she felt toward the EF. Her jaw was set, her eyes were the icy grey of a winter storm. Shoving her hands in her pockets, Jisa tried top stop her fists from clenching to the point that her nails dug into her palms. Those filthy liars. Jisa allowed herself the insult at least. Foolishly, she had believed him. Still he had turned on her and killed Ace, Stella and Anya. Even worse, she couldn't retaliate because that would mean certain death for Ash, and perhaps Leah- even though the two had only met twice. The worst thing was not being able to do anything. The onset of summer was showing slightly, a little spring breeze here, a little summer humidity there. Right now, the sun was touching the horizon ever so slightly- casting a brilliant golden glow over the bland growth of Deepby Moor. As stealthy as a leopard, quite literally, Jisa passed through ditches and wet patches without difficulty. A sharp bark of pain came from somewhere along the Moor. Instantly Jisa's icy-grey blue eyes snapped up and she froze. Every muscle in her body tensed as she surveyed her surroundings. Far to the left was Stonewick Forest and beyond that was Quicksilver River. Among the beginnings of the stunted Moor was a figure. No human would be wandering out here at this time, no regular one. The sun sank a little further below the horizon. Deciding that whoever it was must need a little help, Jisa melted into her hated- but useful- panther self.
As always the change started like fire in her veins, and then needles in her skin. Her senses blurred as her hair shortened slowly. Her back twisted and arched, her nails growing black and lengthened into sharp claws. The weight of her paws dragged her down onto all fours as the rest of her body wrenched and twisted into place. It was like waking up after hours of sleep, the panther flexed her jaws and limbs. Her senses came back, even sharper than before as she crouched down low. Her belly fur brushed the ground as each paw moved forward with lethal grace. The female panther crept forward, keeping to the shadows of the ditches- betting on the waning sun to keep her out of sight until she reached the person stumbling on the Moor. Only about fifteen metres away from the frustrated woman, the panther froze. The threatening growl rose in her throat before she could think to stop it. EF... The words sprang to her head instantly. Tail lashing in anger, the panther gave way to her human mind, and in turn the human body.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a six foot frame of a young woman rose out of the moor, spiteful arrogance raised in her features. Her hands crossed over her chest as she lifted her chin, staring haughtily at the lost Hunter. Jisa's hair tumbled over her shoulders and down her back, always the last thing to reappear in her transformation. Clenching her jaw, Jisa strode forward, her fury like a black cloak around her. Some of her hatred was based on the fact that this woman was EF, and the other was based on disgust that obviously some type of Supernatural had outdone this certain Hunter. Jisa wasn't stupid, she knew that Ash had been the one to beat her. Everything ran through her head at the same time. When you were everything or had been everything possible, it was hard to get your head around what you should feel. So Jisa blocked it all out. Once she was about five metres away from the EF Hunter, Jisa stopped. She balanced on the balls of her feet, should the Hunter attack her, then she was ready.
"You lost?"
The ex-Hunter, Shifter, hunter again, called without particular friendliness in her voice.

Jane was just beginning to regsin herself to the fact that maybe she would just have to wander in circles a bit, more I mean come on, I have to eventually run into civilization? right? she thought glumly. You lost? the voice came out of the gloom, arrogant and behind the arrogance an over whelming wave of fury. where the? she spun around and came face to face with Jisa’s shoulders. Raising her eyes gray stone meet the blue storm. Jane frowned, nobody had snuck up on her in a long time and out in the middle of a moor, lost, with no shoes and no weapon; Jane didn’t like how the odds were beginning to stack up. Taking a step back just to be safe Jane spread a smile across her dirt covered face Yep I am lost, which way is back to town? she asked keeping her voice light.

The small woman spun around, only as tall as Jisa's shoulders. The unease was clear in the air, if the roles were reversed, Jisa would feel the same. No EF Hunter liked to be caught lost and without any form of protection other than muscle and speed. Dodging a bullet, the woman smiled and agreed with Jisa. Giving a point toward the west, Jisa answered easily. Directions around here were easy. All roads lead to Rome... Or so the famous quote went. This time, Jisa ignored the ever present voice in her head. There wasn't much point in fighting it anymore, it just tired her mentally and never went away.
"Go that way through the forest, across the river and keep going. You'll eventually hit the town."
She answered, as if this whole meeting was trivial. Jisa didn't much like a waste of time.

Jane stared at her Just go that way through the forest she thought in her head sarcastically cross the river and keep going, oh yes thanks so much, very informative she rolled her eyes I’ll never get lost now But she didn’t say any of this out loud, standing even with in a few feet of Jisa you could feel her rage and even Jane was picking up that antagonizing this woman would be a very fast way to wind up six feet under. err, sorry to be patronizing, but err I got lost doing just that Jane said trying to keep the scorn out of her voice. It annoyed her when people were angry about something else and then snapped at her. Jane of coarse did this herself but there would be no telling her that. so a little more detailed please Jane asked as polite as she could manage after a long day of getting her butt kicked.

With an eyebrow raised at the woman's eye roll, Jisa shook her head. People these days, ask for help and then throw it back in your face. However, the tall, dark Shifter didn't really care whether this woman made it back to town or not. Why should Jisa be inclined to give her further directions anyway. Noticing that the EF Hunter was being careful not to annoy Jisa, she decided to give her a little leeway on the matter.
"You are really not from around here are you?"
Jisa sighed before turning to the forest and looking for the traces of a trail that had once been used to get out of Clearstone and into the Moor. It was a camping trail. Spotting it, Jisa pointed.
"There. Any Hunter with sense would look for something like that. It leads right into town if you follow it."
Maybe it wasn't the right thing to say, or the right way to say it. Jisa honestly didn't care though, if this woman decided to get angry and attack then it was all fair game. Hunter against Hunter. Shifter against Human.

Watching the angry stranger carefully Jane waited impatiently for her to reply, her ear aching and feet being poked with sticks and leaves. nope, I am not. Just moved her recently she said, crossing her arms. Jane had been called up from another town to hunt in Clearstone, super natural activity had suddenly just exploded and the generals wanted that fixed, Jane had been happy to oblige. Jane’s eyes went to where the woman pointed now how’d I miss that? she wondered and then shrugged, it didn’t really matter. yeah well I’ve never been known for my sense Jane said eyeing the path straight to town you say? Best news I’ve heard all day

Jisa shrugged off her animosity toward any and all EF Hunters, not all of them were completely and utterly evil beings. Just most of them. Rolling her neck to loosen the tension there, Jisa crossed her arms over her chest and waited for the Hunter to go. Instead the woman stood there and tried to make conversation, or so it seemed. Reflexively, the Shifter's eyes narrowed. Conversation had never really been a good point with Jisa- especially not around people who she considered dangerous enemies. It just set off the alarm bells in her head for trouble. Though that wasn't exactly reliable, everything made Jisa suspicious. Who could blame her?
"Straight to town. Quite a walk, mind you, but leads to Clearstone."

Jane rocked back on her feet a couple of times, slowly coming to the conclusion that with this angry, angry women she would not have to partake in polite conversation about the whether or politics. Sticking one of her fingers in her ear she grinned, wiggling it around in search of excess ear wax well she said, pulling the figure out and inspecting it I best be off, shouldn’t I? She spun on her heal and pointed in the direction of the track that Jisa had mention, that way wasn’t it? she double checked, wincing as the wind blew on her torn ear, the shoulder of her clothes had turned dark red due to it’s leaking tap like dripping. Shoving her hands into her pockets she limped off toward the track, whistling the tune for 21 guns rather badly to herself.
