Nadi raised her eyebrows at Jasi's laugh. Pretty town? Well hey that made it something. Anyway, was anywhere truly nice for a shifter, or any supernatural? Nadi shrugged, looking dully amused.
Oh hey look, Jisa smiled. Impressive.
As Jisa replied to Nadi's comment Nadi stretched, soar from standing still so long. "And that is why people should stick to themselves," Nadi said bitterly. "Then no ones dragged into shit that they don't need to be in." Nadi crossed her arms and glared moodily at the ground. She angrily thought of what had happened with Samantha because of her.

Jisa really and truly felt sorry for Nadi. It seemed she had been dragged into some nightmare of a life too. However, it happened, especially in a Supernaturals lifetime. Sometimes Jisa wished it didn’t have to be that way, but birthrights are birthrights and Supernaturals were born with the right to fight to live. Sad, but true.
”Listen, kid.” Jisa answered shortly. ”With the Supernaturals, there’s no way not to get dragged into it. It’s a fact.”
Jisa informed her, trying to drive the message across. Nadi might as well accept that this was how things worked. If there ever turned out to be a way to smash that general rule, Jisa’d find it and she’d use it.
”Talking about getting dragged into things…” Jisa sighed. ”Do you have anywhere to stay?”

Nadi shrugged. She already knew that all Supernaturals were basically screwed in life. No happy ending for us. Just a whole bunch of pain and misery. Oh goody. Yay for being a Supernatural. Whoo. Hoo. Nadi managed to keep her bitterly humerous feelings to herself. There was no need to say everything that popped into her head.
"Course I do," Nadi said, trying to sound passive. "Not that you would have to help me if I didn't." Maybe it was weird that Nadi found that funny, but she did. Some random person who just happens to be a Supernatural shows up, and seems to actually give a damn? That's just impressive! Nadi let a small smile grace her face. What a strange sence of humor I have, she thought to herself in amusment.
"I should be leaving." Nadi didn't want Jisa to guess that she didn't really have a proper place to stay. Saying that she did have a place to stay hadn't been an out right lie, but it was border line. Nadi had been staying in Downing Park for a while now, alternativly sleeping under a bush in her shifted form, and sleeping on a bench as a human. It left her stiff in the morning, but nothing she couldn't handle. Nadi was used to ruffing it. Anyway, she still wasn't sure if she could trust Jisa.

Jisa raised an eyebrow at Nadi’s lie. There was no way this girl had a place to stay, realtors didn’t sell houses to fifteen year olds, even if they could find a way to pay. And this place was a ghost town. Not many people would be willing to help. Silently, the panther shifter shrugged. If Nadi didn’t trust her, which to be honest was understandable, then that was fine. The humidity of summer pressed down on Jisa’s skin, but she couldn’t sweat. Extreme temperatures could begin to, but Wetherley, while extreme in so many other ways, wasn’t extreme in geography terms. Jisa tried to give Nadi one more shot, living out on streets wasn’t a good idea. Especially when there were hunters- like Jisa- around.
“Two other Shifters live with me. Both of them under eighteen. You’re welcome if you change your mind. My house is… the huge one. Pretty much.”
Jisa shrugged again and sighed. God, this job would drive her to drink. It was time to go out and murder something.
”Just be careful if you do decide to, I think my house might be under surveillance, but you’re safe inside. They wouldn’t dare mess with you once you’re in.”
I hope. She thought to herself. Because if not, hell will be raised. Her face was tight, and drawn with exhaustion. The world was just too much to deal with these days.
