Appearance: Nadi has a sleek, slim, body build. She's fit and lean, but not muscular although she can still look fierce and opposing when she wants to. Nadi weighs approximately 112 lbs and is about 5 feet and 9 inches tall. Her eyes are warm brown, the color of melted chocolate, and can harden at a moments notice. Nadi's hair is also brown, a darker, fuller, brown. It has some lighter strands but Nadi would never dream of highlighting or dying it. Her hair is mostly straight, with slight waves. It hangs down slightly past her shoulders.
In half way form her sandy-brown colored ears stick up out of her hair, quiet obvious and bound to draw attention. Her tail isn't much better. She refuses, point blank, to wear any dresses and a coyote tail sticking out of someones jeans isn't exactly subtle. Nadi's eyes also change slightly, in a much less noticeable way. They take on more of a honey color and the pupil looks fuller.
Fully transformed, Nadi is a sandy colored coyote with deep honey colored eyes. Her body retains its slight build. Nadi's fur is well kept and smooth except for her tail which always seems to be snagging in bushes and gathering burrs.
Personality: Nadi's moods seem to swap just like the sun and moon. She can be firey, hot-headed, and irritable. When she's in this sort of mood you better back off; Nadi often resorts to fighting, although she is trying to work on her temper.
When Nadi has not been angered she's often inquisitive, deter-minded, and full of pride, but loyal to anyone that proves their friendship to her. This loyalty isn't show often though. Nadi doesn't trust, or even like people, without good cause.
History: Two years after the Shifters, Ethan Kennedy and Stella Davis, were married they decided to have a child. The next year Stella had two little girls, twins. One was named Nadiya the other, Yarina. Shortly after the twins 3rd birthday Yari disappeared. Stella and Ethan knew that the disappearance must have been caused by the EF, and that they would have to keep a close watch on Nadi so the same fate would not befall her.
So, they moved to a small town near the sea. There, Stella and Ethan decided that they would not tell Nadi what she was or about the world of the Super Naturals. They both adopted human jobs and sent Nadi to regular school to bury the secret deeper.
For the next seven years things went smoothly. Nadi was happy, had many friends, and enjoyed school. It was only after Nadi turned 11 that she started to complain. She told her mother that the others at her school didn't like her any more, that only one person was still friends with her, and that sometimes, when she was angry, she felt completely different from everyone else in the world. She was realizing what she was, but afraid to tell her parents. Nadi thought that she was a freak.
Stella, at first, was worried that Nadi had found out at being a Shifter, but quickly brushed off the idea. Stella settled on the fact that Nadi was just going through hard pre-teen years.
Only after Nadi's 13th birthday did she figure out the true horror of being a Shifter. It happened in the park. Nadi and her best friend, Samantha Gibbots, were in the park, relaxing after school. One of the older boys kept pestering Samantha and wouldn't leave the two 13 year old girls alone. Eventually Nadi's temper snapped, she leapt to her feet to tell him off but felt like she was tripping, coming nearer to the ground. Nadi didn't pay much mind to that, intent as she was on teaching the boy a lesson. Suddenly the boy was stumbling back, although Nadi didn't remember having hit him. The park erupted in screams. Nadi took a step back, unsure what had happened. She glanced down at her feet and gasped in horror, they were paws. Nadi glanced up at Samantha for help, but she was gone. Samantha was charging for her father's car, which had just pulled up. As Samantha leapt into the back of the car the front door burst open. Her father came running at Nadi. Anger and hate burned clearly in his eyes. Nadi turned and ran. By the time she got home she had regained her human shape. She vowed never to tell her parents what had happened.
Stella and Ethan found out soon enough anyway. The town was abuzz about the Shifter girl; Nadi's parents decided it was time to leave. They tried to explain to Nadi but she wouldn't have it. She was angry with her parents for not telling her what she was, miserable that her friend had ran, shocked that Samantha's father had tried to kill her, and even angrier that her parents were reluctant to move. In Nadi's eyes it was all her parents fault.
Things only got worse when they moved. In the huge city Nadi's parents could only afford a small apartment, so they were all jammed up together. Halfway through the year Ethan brought up what was, by his views, a brilliant idea: they could send Nadi to boarding school. The EF wouldn't think to look there, Nadi would have a chance to start over, and Ethan and Stella would have more room in the apartment. Stella agreed to the plan and they quickly signed Nadi up. Nadi though, was not impressed. She argued and fought with her parents, but to no avail.
Finally, on the night before she was due to leave, Nadi ran for it. Driven crazy with hate, anger, and pride, Nadi never looked back. It's been two years now, and still Nadi has no intentions of going back to find her parents. She's decided to stay alone, on the run from the EF.
