Appearance: Cassie has long light blonde wavy hair worn loose in a ponytail or left down. She has icy, grey eyes and the petite stature of a girl (5’5” and 120lbs) though her body has been kept toned by regular light exercise. Her features are more sharp, prominent and harsh as if she knows hunger and loss. She carries herself tall in a way that can only be called rebellious and proud, as if daring the world to look at her as just a girl. Her skin is fair and lacks the color that days in the sun can bring. She has a birthmark on the inside of her wrist that looks vaguely like a sword. She is generally in good health and presents herself in casual clothing, not likely to be designer or any kind of expensive.

Personality: Cassie is very refined and independent, honed by years of fairing on her own. She speaks formally and pronounces every word with an extensive vocabulary and a british lilt. It’s difficult to get past her distrusting nature but she is polite and well-mannered to all who pay her the same respect. She is easily angered by greed, excessive wealth and self-centered people. When talking about or to any of the above, she is short and harsh in her manner of speaking. Her bitterness toward this is partly due to her modest upbringing and mostly due to the loss of her brother to the human condition. She is well enough off in terms of money now, but doesn’t like to spend for extravagant things, only for necessary items. She donates to charity and tries to help out at shelters as much as she can, putting her new found ‘wealth' to use to assuage her guilt over having gained it. Cassie’s next favorite past time is reading, escaping into a world where she doesn’t have to feel the pain of being abandoned and feeling the pressure of everything around her. She’s a skilled manager and is very good at anything to do with strategy and planning, she’s also highly intelligent and well-versed in business. Her weakness is in persuasion, making her planning and management skills pretty useless since she can’t get anyone behind her in her endeavors. Cassie is pretty wary of men as she’s been let down by the ones closest to her before. She is a realist and doesn’t trick herself into thinking a situation could be okay when it isn’t or that it isn’t when it is. She knows what’s going on and accepts it. She is brave but knows when to back down and self-preserve, she is not reckless in the least. At the moment she would like to succeed in alleviating poverty and exploitation in the world, and finding love and belonging for herself. She is compassionate but she has limits and a strong sense of instinct.

History: Cassie was born to a mother who soon became single and so was never around for long hours as she was working to support their living on her own, and they hadn’t been well-off in the beginning. After Adam, her father, left, Cassie’s mother was never really the same as she had been before. Over the years, Cassie’s mom became ill. Later it was diagnosed that she had Non-hodgkin’s lymphoma and by the time Cassie was fifteen, her mother was too ill to work. She only lived three years after that, dying just after Cassie turned eighteen. At that point, Cassie found out that she had a half-brother, Felix Ellison, fathered by another dead-beat dad that left Ryesen and took the child with him. Cassie had always been looked down on in society for her low-income, and their lack of resources had led to no real way to pay off medical bills. So while studying a business degree at university for three years, she learned how disgustingly rich some people were and how exploitation and environmental damage was caused due to people trying to line their pockets excessively. Felix had a vision the same as her, but didn’t have a degree or knowledge of management and strategy to back it up. He had charisma and persuasion on his side. They grew close and angled to work against the destruction big companies were causing. Together, by fate or luck, they managed to infiltrate some of the biggest global companies and work their way to the top to bring them down and did so to the advantage of many third-world workers and low income families, and to the detriment of some of the higher classes. Obviously, they could not be allowed to carry on making a mockery of the major corporations.

Cassie suspected foul-play in her brother turning on her and resigning himself to the life of a corporate fat cat, cutting off all ties with her and throwing her to the sharks, but couldn’t prove it. She was taken to court for Fraud, Forgery and Conspiracy until she backed out of her company shares and gave up her robin hood ways. Hurt as she was, she opted to get away when the charges were dropped and headed to Clearstone, a town that harboured a lot of runaways and their share of wealthy.
