Three days ago, Daniel recieved a pretty blunt invite: "Mr.McKnight.
Stonewick Forest. The Exmachina Manor. Pack light. Stay for a while, free of charge.

He had been invited to many manor's before, and expected it to be like the rest, They just wanted their precious mansions to be free of their haunts. Not once did it cross his mind that it was an actual invite to stay at a manor.
Upon arrival, he knocked on the door, and a stout butler appeared in the threshold. "Welcome, Mr.McKnight."
Surprised by the butler knowing of who he was, he let his guard down.
"How...do you know me, oh short, butler person?"
"We know many things about you, Daniel. For instance, we know that whenever you get an invite to anywhere, you scout the place for 3 days, 175º from the front door. We know that you were in contact with the Headless Horseman for three days, checking up on us. We know about your..." He smirks in a spiteful way, "condition. Please come in, take a load off, the other guests will be arriving soon."
These facts were all true, and caught him so off guard, that he actually heeded his instructions, and sat down on the couch.
